Reportedly, SpiceJet seeks to break-even this economic year. The break-even is supposed to emerge due to stabilizing fuel rates and a growing demand for low-priced travel.
The air-shipper seeks oil prices to even out in the array of $65-70.
Present Government guidelines specify that a national airline can start global operations only after five years of Indian operations apart from a 20-strong convoy.
SpiceJet will only deem short-haul flights to places like south-east Asia, West Asia and the SAARC region.
