JSW Steel’s crude steel construction increases 45%
Friday, July 3, 2009 11:07 amJSW Steel has posted 45% increase in its crude steel construction during the early quarter of economic year 2009-10 opposed to subsequent quarter of the previous economic year.
The company manufactured 14.09lakhtonne of crude steel during the quarter that also comprises 0.34lakh tonne of test manufacture.
The construction of rolled products-flat and rolled products-long grown by 47% and 103%, to 8.70lakh tonne and 1.86lakh tonne, correspondingly, opposed to 2007 period.
The construction number of rolled products-long also comprises 0.06lakh tonne of test production.
The notable development in crude steel and rolled long goods was largely due to production from the 2.8 MTPA growth scheme at Vijayanagar works.
