Mahindra Satyam’s six directors to exit
Friday, July 3, 2009 3:35 pmReportedly, the government now seeks to cancel the appointment of six directors as the company is owned by a new proprietor.
The government is supposed to have got in touch with the CLB looking for recall of the 6 directors. The CLB is likely to take a move concerning this matter on Friday.
The CLB had selected Tarun Das, S Balakrishna, Kiran Karnik, Deepak Parekh, C Achuthan and T N Manoharan on the company’s board in the near future after its founder Chairman B Ramalinga Raju confessed about the scam.
Tech Mahindra, through a public sale, obtained 31% stake in Satyam for a deliberation of Rs.1, 756crore, as a result becoming the new proprietor of the company.
