The BSE Sensex witnessed consolidation for the 2nd successive day. It traded on the lower side for the chief component of the session. Oil & gas, technology and cement companies’ shares boosted the markets. Tata Power, Sterlite, ICICI Bank, Reliance Infrastructure, Sun Pharmacy and Tata Motors were the remaining earners.
Nevertheless, selling carried on in metal, FMCG, banking, capital goods, realty, select telecom and auto stocks, which restricted the profits. The BSE Sensex ended at 15903, which is high with 72 points and the NSE Nifty increased 14 points to 4,694.
