SpiceJet to take off global in 2010
Monday, July 6, 2009 10:47 amSpiceJet decides to introduce global operations by the month of May 2010. The company presently examines several facets revolving its strategy to go global.
According to the regulations, an airline is supposed to meet certain obligation like finishing 5 years of Indian operations and run 20 or more national flights with an objective to begin global operations. Presently SpiceJet operates in more than 125 national flights all over 18 cities on a daily basis and it will achieve its eligibility standard of finishing 5 years of national operations on 23rd May, next year.
The company also plans to grow its operations in Tier-II and III destinations as it envisages a vast prospective. SpiceJet is on the hunt for minor airliner that has traveler power to bear 60-70 people.
