Tulip Telecom leads Indian MPLS/IP VPN market

Frost and Sullivan, global growth consulting company has chosen Tulip Telecom as the leader of the Indian MPLS/IP VPN market for 2008 in its report. Tulip acquired the position for the second consecutive year.
According to the report Tulip Telecom holds 37.8% of market share in the Indian MPLS/IP VPN segment ahead by 8.4% as compared to 29.4% last year. The IP VPN /MPLS segment contributes 33.8 percent to the general data services market of the country.
The report by Frost & Sullivan was complied after a widespread analysis of service provider’s revenues and market share within the industry, interviews with all market participants and extensive secondary research of proprietary data sources.
Other parameters like market share; revenue growth strategy; productivity and technology innovation were also taken into account to arrive at the final result.
