Domino’s Pizza to raise headcount by nearly 1,800 in fiscal 2010

The company is also considers to launch its small set-up store idea for walk-in crowds in the domestic market.
Domino’s has presently 275 restaurants all over the nation with a standard size of 1,200 sq ft each. Although 70% of the company’s sales are generated from home delivery, the remaining 30% is over-the-counter sales.
In August, the company had forayed into the ready-to-eat pasta market. It had previously declared plans to have 500 stores all over the nation by 2010-11. Reportedly, Domino’s Pizza had nearly 42% share in the planned pasta market in 2007-08.
