Pfizer to commence 2-3 generic medicines by Dec

Pfizer resolves to launch 2-3 generic medicines in the country by December with an objective to raise its market share and extend product portfolio.
In August, the company introduced anti-hypertensive telmisartan as part of portfolio development plan.
The company signed a contract with Indian generic drug maker in the month of May, Aurobindo Pharmacy and Claris Lifesciences for certifying agreements of some of their off-patent medicines. The company’s production unit will be employed in outsourcing of these goods.
