Grasim Industries resumes production
Thursday, July 9, 2009 2:22 pmGrasim Industries has declared that the staple fibre factory at Nagda, MP has been resumed from 9th July and the production is likely to be reinstated completely in a little while. The company had canceled production from the factory due to water scarcity in the region in May caused in the wake of water need from one of its tanks by the district management to convene the deficit of drinking water in Ujjain during 2009.
The company had declared that the production from the factory will begin again as soon as the monsoon hits.
Grasim Industries had posted 26% decline in its net gain during previous economic year to Rs.1, 647.96crore in 2008-09 from Rs.2, 232.60crore in 2007-08.
