Midday Note: Markets bounced back
Thursday, July 9, 2009 12:33 pmMarkets have recuperated and have succeeded their day’s low driven by profits in the Metal, FMCG and Pharmacy stocks. Nevertheless, the interest rate oriented stocks are among the chief slackers. The NSE goes on to float around the 4,100 standards.
The Sensex has bounced back nearly 170 points and the Nifty has revived more than 50 points from their individual day’s low.
18 stocks are on the higher side and 12 were on the lower side among the 30-components of BSE. ONGC, BHEL, ICICI Bank, Infosys, M&M and Grasim are among the chief slackers.
The BSE 30-share was high with 30 points and the NSE was high with 11 points at 12:28 pm IST.
L&T, HDFC, Reliance Industries, SBI and Bharti were the top earners.
