Information Technology stocks swings up

The BSE IT index led the sector space. The index traded at 3,211.54, which is high with 83.32 points. Rolta, Wipro, HCL Technologies, Tech Mahindra and Moser Baer were the chief earners on the index.
Patni, TCS, Mphasis, Infosys, Aptech and Oracle were the other major earners. Index did not have any losers.
The company declared its audited outcome for the quarter closed on 30th June. The company has recorded a net gain of Rs.1, 464crore for the quarter closed on 30th June opposed to Rs.1, 262crore for the quarter closed on 30th June, last year. The sum income for the quarter has rushed 15.53% from Rs.4, 647crore in the equivalent quarter of previous economic year.
The group has recorded a net gain of Rs.1, 527crore on combined basis for the early quarter of 2009-10 opposed to Rs.1, 302crore for 2007 period. The sum income has surged to Rs.5, 741crore during the quarter under contemplation from Rs.4, 971crore, recording an increase of 15.48% on YoY basis.
