Aurobindo Pharmacy bags Australian govt consent for anti-cholesterol medicine

The company stated that its entirely-led subordinate Aurobindo Pharma Australia Pty Ltd has bagged consent from the TGA, Australian Government, for the registration of Simvastatin tablets in a filing to the BSE.The tablets are in the potency of 5, 10, 20, 40 and 80 mg.
Previously in March, the company had bagged a couple of TGA sanction from the Australian government for its Sertraline and Lisinopril tablets. This is the 3rd sanction bagged by the firm from TGA, Australia.
Aurobindo Pharmacy’s shares traded at Rs.286.15, which is high at 1.78% on the Sensex.
