Spectrum allocation for WB unable to raise the stock of Unitech

Unitech presently trades at Rs 35 down by 0.90 points or 2.51% from its previous closing of Rs 35.90 on the BSE.

The stock opened on the higher side at Rs 36 and has touched a high of Rs 36.80 with a low of Rs 33.45.So far 78, 61,274 shares were traded on the BSE.

The BSE Realty sector stock has touched a 52 week high of Rs 537.40 on January 15, 2008 and a 52 week low of Rs 21.80 on November 28, 2008.

The BSE Realty index presently trades at 1,793.04 down by 3.81% from its previous closing.

The stock has seen a negative change of 26.47% since last week while a positive change of 2.04% since last month.

The Department of Telecommunications (DoT), pursuant to the Unified Access Services, has issued the letters to the Unitech’s telecom subsidiary for allotment of 4.4 MHz of Spectrum in 1800 MHz GSM band in respect of West Bengal Service Area.

With this, the company have been allotted initial spectrum in 21 service areas out of total 22 service areas in the country.
