Hyundai increases car prices
Friday, February 13, 2009 3:55 pmHyundai Motor India, the country’s second biggest car manufacturer has increased the prices of i10, Santro and sedan Accent over all alternatives by high to Rs.14,636 instantly to make up for increase in input price.
Its first-class solid car i10 will now be costlier by Rs3,974 to Rs7,637 whereas its sedan entry level Accent will be for Rs.14,636 higher.
Nevertheless, the company did not fiddle the price of its recently launched top-end sedan Sonata, whereas mid-sized sedan Verna was introduced previously this week with a new sports deviation and at a new price tag between Rs.6.37 lakh to Rs.8.65 lakh.
HMIL had cut down the prices after the government’s statement of a 4% cut in Cenvat in last December.
