Airlines stocks trades up
Thursday, August 13, 2009 2:46 pmJet Airways, Kingfisher Airlines and SpiceJet rushed after the government on Thursday, resolved to create a Group of Ministers to consider the issues addressed by the downturn-hit airlines.
The GoM will consider the sales tax and high base costs of fuel. The government’s move has come a week after airline industry leaders endangered to go on strike on 18th August. The strike was, nevertheless, canceled after it was stated in outlook of prospective trouble to thousands of travelers.
