Bharat Gears up with the buy back consideration

Bharat Gears presently trades at Rs 20.80, up by 1.90 points or 10.05% from its previous closing of Rs 18.90 on the BSE.

The stock opened at Rs 18.75 and has touched a high of Rs 22.60 with a low of Rs 18.75. So far 26,836 shares were traded on the BSE.

The BSE stock touched a 52 week high of Rs 72.70 on January 15,2008 and a 52 week low of Rs 18.65 on January 13,2009.

The stock has seen a positive change of 9.47% since last week and a negative change of 0.95% since last month.

In a pre scheduled meeting of the company on January 30, 2009 the board of directors will consider amendment in the Articles of Association of the company for empowering the company to buy back its own shares and also for authorizing the board to buy back its own shares as per the provisions of the Companies Act, 1956.
