Petronet LNG moves forward on stake sale buzz

Petronet LNG presently trades at Rs 37.25, up by 2.80 points or 8.13% from its previous closing of Rs 34.45 on the BSE.

The stock opened at Rs 34.50 and has touched a high of Rs 39.75 with the opening remains its low. So far 18,96,349 shares were traded on the BSE.

The BSE Mid-cap stock touched a 52 week high of Rs 115 on January 15, 2008 and a 52 week low of Rs 29.55 on December 2, 2008.

The BSE Mid-cap index presently trades at 3,047.67 up by 1.37% from its previous closing.

The stock has seen  positive changes of 0.40% since last week and 6.73% since last month.

The government has offered 10% stake sale in Petronet LNG to Qatar, informed Union petroleum Minister Murli Deora in a recent statement. Nevertheless, the matter is under subjudice and the Qatar government is yet to respond to the offer.
