Tata Motors has delivered its first shipment of Nano, world’s cheapest car, to Hyderabad. Nano is being made at its Pantnagar division from where it was sent to Hyderabad. 50 Nano cars have been delivered through high-powered BPU coaches to Sanatnagar railway station in Hyderabad. Moreover Nano, the company has also delivered 34 Tata Magic vans. Reportedly railway has gained profit of Rs.8, 71,145 via loading of this shipment. At present, the Nano is being manufactured at company’s Pantnagar centre along with Ace trucks
Even though, the primary factory of Nano has been established at Sanand in Gujarat, the Nano is presently being made at the Pantnagar service as facilities at Sanad are still to be finished.
