Midday Note: Markets on a downside

Market continues to stay under stress after beginning on an unstable note, ahead of the inflation numbers to be declared at 12 noon. Except the Teck, IT and PSU index all the other sector indices are on the lower side with the Sensex Realty index among the chief loser low at 2.8%.
The Mid and the Small-Cap index are also low by more than 1.5% each.
The BSE 30-share dropped 65 points and the NSE was low with 44 points at 11:47 am IST. 17 stocks are on the lower side and 13 are on the higher side among the 30-components of BSE.
