Aviva to employ 1,500 sales managers in the near future
Wednesday, August 19, 2009 5:00 pmAviva Life Insurance stated on Wednesday that it plans to employ nearly 13,000 agents and 1,500 sales managers in the following 7 months to stimulate business development. Â
New business of the firm has fallen by 19% opposed to the same period in 2007 during the initial quarter of the present economic year.
There are nearly 37,000 advisers and the personnel base of the firm is 7,000.
The programme focuses to offer education to 50,000 deprived children over the following 3 years.
The company has associated with NGOs CRY and Save the Children for this programme. They would approach 20,000 children via 9 projects in 5 states in the initial year.
50% of the group’s charitable donations will aim at ‘Street to School’ programmes from the year 2010.
Aviva Life Insurance is an alliance between Dabur and Aviva, with Dabur holding 74% stake and Aviva Plc owning 26% stake. The company has a sum remunerated capital of Rs.1, 491.8crore.
