GAIL reinstates normal gas provision to Gujarat Gas from PMT mines
Wednesday, August 19, 2009 11:00 amGujarat Gas Company has declared that GAIL has reinstated standard gas provisions to the firm from the Panna, Mukta and Tapti oilfields. The quantity of gas provided by GAIL to the firm from the PMT mines has been reinstated nearly to the standards of gas provisions before the announcement of the Force Majeure event at the oil evacuation system of the Panna and Mukta mines.
Previously this month, GAIL had minimized the quantity of gas provided to the company by nearly 40% following a marine seepage in the (PMT) oilfields that led to a close down of crude manufacture from the facility.
Gujarat Gas bags around 75% of its needs from the PMT mines via GAIL India.
