Areva receives Rs.1, 200crore power venture
Thursday, June 25, 2009 4:30 pmAreva T&D India stated on Thursday that it has received a deal valued at around Rs.1, 200crore from Indian steel chief Jindal Steel & Power Ltd for a power venture.
The company has been given this agreement for power transformers and a 400/220 kV substation for the steel producer’s green field incorporated steel venture at Angul in Orissa.
The range of work comprises erection, designing, manufacturing and commissioning of transformers.
The assignment is planned to be finished by December 2010.
Areva T&D India shares traded at Rs.335, which is high with 2.34% in the post noon trade on the Sensex.
