Reliance Industries attacks ADAG media crusade
Tuesday, August 25, 2009 10:25 amReliance Industries has hit back for opening what it refers as a ‘malicious, mischievous, baseless and ill-informed’ media movement in opposition to its KG gas basin growth outlay. RIL wants such enterprise to be pinched.
Reportedly, RIL says that the capital outlay for the KG-D6 mines has grown from $2.47 billion in the year 2003 to $8.83 billion due to a 2.5 times rise in assets, trebling of production services, doubling of peak manufacture, increase in number of wells, inflation and field life in the equipment and services business.
Reportedly, RIL in a memo to Union petroleum secretary R S Pandey has asserted that certain parties are determined about holding the nation’s conceit and national interest hostage to their own constricted saleable interests and are ceasing at nothing to wipe out the status of the country.
