Hero Honda descends despite launching three new variants

Hero Honda Motors presently trades at Rs 794.70 down by 19.15 points or 2.35% from its previous closing of Rs 813.85 on the BSE.

The stock opened at Rs 811 and has touched a high of Rs 816 with a low of Rs 792.So far 14,778 shares were traded on the BSE.

The BSE Auto sector stock has reached a 52 week high of Rs 894.80 on October 3, 2008 and a 52 week low of Rs 561 on January 22, 2008.

The BSE Auto index currently trades at 2,379.37 down by 1.08% from its previous closing.

The country’s largest two-wheeler maker Hero Honda introduces three new variants of its entry level and executive segment bikes priced between Rs 35,800 and Rs 55,450 (ex-showroom Delhi).

The company has launched the advanced variants of two of its 125 cc motorcycles- Glamour and Glamour Fi (fuel injection) and entry level bike CD Deluxe.

The new variants of Glamour are expected to be priced between Rs 45,800 to 47,700, the Glamour Fi variants will be priced between Rs 51,450-55,450 while CD Deluxe will have a price tag between Rs 33,700 and Rs 36,900.
