Shares of Shopper’s Stop drops after shutdown news of its book stores

Shoppers Stop announced on Friday that it has shut down 3 of its book stores ‘Crossword’ across the nation.
The company currently has 51 Crossword stores in India with the shutdown. The company has shut down its airport retail store ‘Stop & Go’ as well, which is at Mumbai Airport.
Shares of the company declined around 3% today post the shutdown statement. The company’s shares have dropped approximately 83% from its highest point previous year.
Lately, Shopper’s Stop declared that it will stop its catalogue vending business under Hyper city Argos as it failed meet planned performance standards.
