Hitachi Home & Life Solutions India commenced its latest air-conditioner production factory at Kadi (Gujarat).
The facility of Hitachi is the biggest AC production facility in the country under one shed and is the result of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors’ meeting 2009 where HHLI inked an MOU to allocate funds in Gujarat and is presently amongst the early ones to achieve the factory.
The latest production facility is located neighboring to the company’s present plant at Kadi. The new factory would produce commercial air-conditioners comprising big air-conditioner chiller plants, telecom air-conditioners and ductable air-conditioners.
At present, Hitachi Chillers are being brought from Hitachi’s plants outside the country. The sum investment estimated to nearly Rs.50crore. The factory is state of art and outfitted with superior machinery and testing labotaries.
Now, the production will rise to 4lakh units per year. HHLI had earnings of Rs.520crore in the economic year 2008-2009. It has two manufacturing units in the country.
