Closing Note: Sensex closes at 2% high

Today, markets were at their peak as far as trading is concerned. They ended up achieving 2.04% towards the closing hour on refreshed selling of heavy stocks like oil, metal and gas.
The BSE benchmark Sensex began the day on a low note. However, Asian markets had bounced back around noon getting caught in an uneven session for the second subsequent day.
The 30-share BSE index closed at 187.96, which is up at 9,427.22 and 50-share NSE was hurt by 50.90 points, which is 2874.85.
