L&T on an upswing

The stock opened at Rs.655 and has reached a high of Rs.679.95 with a low of Rs.645.25. Till now 5,38,805 shares were traded on the Sensex.
The BSE CG sector presently trades at 6,214.04, which is up by 1.07% from its earlier closing.
The price of the stock has seen an optimistic change of 5.98% since past week and a dismal change of 11.79% since past month.
Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has recorded the results that were not audited for the quarter closed on 31st December 31, last year.
The company has recorded a whopping gain after tax increase of 215.58% as opposed to Rs.481.79 crore for the quarter closed on 31st December, 2007.
Sum Income of the company has gone up by 36.44% from Rs.6,539.41 crore in the subsequent earlier quarter.
Larsen & Toubro has got the government’s agreement to obtain the scam-hit Satyam Computer Services. The company has a 12% share in the IT major and has got management control, according to a report.
