GAIL signs gas co-operation pact with Karnataka Govt.
Thursday, April 30, 2009 12:50 pmGas Authority of India has inked a gas co-operation contract with Karnataka government. According to the pact, GAIL will put down a couple of gas pipelines to the state from Kochi and Dhabol.
The Rs.6,000 crore valued scheme, being exclusively financed by GAIL, is likely to be finished by the year 2012. Now the company has to obtain Right of Use from the authoritarian and inform it.
The anticipated pipelines are intended to carry 16 MMSCD each day of gas.
