Indian Oil Corporation ventures into wind power division
Thursday, April 30, 2009 2:00 pmIndian Oil Corporation, the biggest oil refining and marketing firm of the nation has entered the wind power division by beginning its wind farm at Kandla (Gujarat) for an outlay of Rs.130 crore.
The wind farm has a power production competence of 21 mega watt that will be used to sustain its oil pipelines and fuel storage in Gujarat.
Suzlon has implemented the contract of establishing the wind farm and it will be accountable for the preservation and function of the same.
