Bajaj Auto has resolved to contact the Supreme Court as the Madras High Court permitted the TVS Motor to employ the twin-spark plugs in its two-wheeler vehicles.

Bajaj Auto Finance stated on Wednesday that its gain after tax increased more than three-fold during the 4th quarter closed 31st March to Rs.15.06 crore over the same quarter in 2007.

Bajaj Auto stated on Thursday that it has got copyright for its creation, multi-spring vehicle shock absorber used in its motorcycles through which it expects to counter low-priced Chinese copycats.

The Sensex Auto index was low 1.85% at 14:09 IST. It underperformed the BSE, which was high at 0.15%.

15,250 shares traded on BSE in the counter. The stock saw a standard everyday volume of 28,321 shares in the last quarter.

Bajaj Auto’s two and three wheelers annual sales were low by 13% last month and remained at 154,093 units as opposed to 176,280 units in the year earlier month.

Bajaj Auto registered a 16.94% decline on Monday in its two-wheeler sales in February with 1,31,785 units as opposed to 1,58,662 units in February previous year.

Bajaj Auto stated today that four of its promoters have undertaken a 2.57% stake of the company for a hidden price.
