JSW Steel, Jindal Steel & Power, Steel Authority of India, JSL, Tata Steel and Bhushan Steel ascended.

The benchmark indices were trading calmly at 11:54 hours IST. Sectors liken oil marketing, banking, technology, and select telecom companies’ shares and in stocks like BHEL, ITC, ONGC and NTPC saw buying.

WBIDC has been unofficially contacted by Bhushan Steel for the need of more than 1000 acre of land to raise its competence to 6 million tonnes once it positively closes its continues negotiation with SMI for partaking in its steel assignment in West Bengal.

Shares of Steel ruled the achievers in Sensex due to steel manufacturers seeing a recovery of demand subsequently better utilization from sections like building and vehicles. Bhushan Steel increased 19.92%.

The Sensex Metal index was high by 3.09% at 14:10 IST. Sensex was high by 1.68%.

Bhushan Steel presently trades at Rs.306.30, which is high by 15.25 points from its last ending of Rs.291.05 on the Sensex.

Uttam Galva Steel was high at 2.90%, Bhushan Steel was high at 2.47%, JSW Steel was high at 3.36%, Steel Authority of India was high at 3.09%, Tata Steel was high at 2.77%, Ispat Industries was high at 1.87% and Kalyani Steel was high at 1.65%.

Bhushan Steel presently trades at Rs.316.80, which is high by 9.15 points from its earlier closing of Rs.307.65 on the Sensex.

Bhushan Steel got up 16.98% to Rs.332.80. Bhushan Power and Steel promoter Sanjay Singhal along with Titanic Steel Industries and Olympian Steel Industries mutually made an open bid to obtain up to 52 lakh shares.
