Hindustan Copper has posted a net decline of Rs.10.30crore for the year closed on 31st March, 2009 as opposed to a net gain of Rs.246.46crore in the earlier economic year.

The government has ceased further disinvestment in Nalco and Hindustan Copper even as operations of the copper manufacturer are ready to be refurbished.

Hindustan Copper has declared its unaudited outcome for the period closed on 30th June, current year.

MMTC, NMDC, Hindustan Copper and NTPC trades high. In the meantime, the BSE was high with 69.06 points to 13,922.76

Hindustan Copper presently trades at Rs.88.10, which is high by 4.45 points from its earlier closing of Rs.83.65 on the Sensex.
