Emirates, a Dubai-based airline has entered into an affiliation with Jet Airways to code share daily flights from Mumbai and New Delhi to Dubai in a move to offer better connectivity to its passengers.

Jet Airways’ shares have gained after reports said that the company plans to lease five aircraft to Gulf Air Co. and Turkish Airlines Inc. to slash costs.

Jet Airways is now ready to pay 3% commission on airfares after four days in a dividing line and halting tickets sales by the agents, including a so-called fuel surcharge that was not considered while calculating such payouts till October 31.
