Market has turned unstable in the afternoon trades as key indices have once again dropped down to the red as traders and investors chose to ease their positions.

The domestic market has been witnessing a lull, though the small consolidation has begun, the top order is still facing the stress.

Ambuja Cement is on a high after a lull. It has gone up from their intra-day’s low after the company stated that sales for the month of November rose 8.8% to 1.48mn tons against 1.36mn tons in the previous year.

The domestic indices witnessed more losses in the pre-noon session as selling continued. Asian barometers, which started on a promising note in the morning, traded on a mixed note at this point. The BSE Metal index was on top in the sector space after Tata Steel declared its merged numbers for the September quarter.

As expected, domestic market started on a positive note with superior universal signals, despite the initial jerky trade.

The domestic market may kick start the day on a positive note after yesterday’s last hour disguise, though the mood is expected to remain guarded.

The domestic market bounced back towards the end of the day with initial losses. The rupee hit a record low of 50.65 per dollar, raising alarm for more foreign fund outflows.
