Tata Motors is understood to have agreed to inject more than 10 million pounds into its UK subsidiary to avoid a liquidity crisis with Jaguar Land Rover (JLR).

Tata Motors has slashed prices across its range of passenger cars, utility vehicles and commercial vehicles, following a 4% reduction on Central Value Added Tax (Cenvat) declared by the government.

Tata Motors is at Rs 130.20 that is up by 1.80 points or 1.40% from its previous closing of Rs 128.40 on the BSE.
The stock opened at Rs 135, which is a high, with a low of Rs 129.50. So far 3,77,911 shares were traded on the BSE.
